Booking policy

1. Reservation and Cancellation

The room reservations must be made either via e-mail, official letter addressed to the guest house management or through a phone call. The reservation must contain the following minimum information: check-in and check-out dates, number of guests, product (room or apartments), country of origin, full names and email address.

If a reservation is made by a telephone call or sent by email and the deposit is not paid in advance, the room reservation remains conditional and the room cannot be guaranteed. If there is a lack of free rooms or other unforeseen circumstances take place, the reservation remains conditional. The reservation is confirmed only when the guest is notified via email.

By making a reservation, you are confirming that you are authorized to do so on behalf of all persons named in the reservation and you are acknowledging that all members of your party agree to be bound by these Booking Terms and Conditions. The guest house is not obliged to verify that a person making a reservation is a legal representative of guests named in the reservation. The payment obligations remain with a person making a reservation.

The reservation can be cancelled for free 21 days prior to to the accommodation date.

2. Bookings and Deposit

Booking is confirmed when a deposit payment is made. Booking confirmations are subject to the availability of accommodation in the guest house.

For room and apartment stays, the deposit is equal to 1 night stay amount.

The booking cancellation must be always submitted in writing (letter or email). 

In case of cancellations being made in less than 21 day, the following cancellation charges will apply, at the discretion of the hotel management:
a. cancellation made from 14 to 20 days prior to the booked date – a fee of  30% of the deposit paid.
b. cancellation made from 8 to 13 days prior to the booked date – a fee of 70% of the deposit paid.
c. cancellation made 48 hours to  the booked date – fee of full deposit paid.

The deposit cannot be refunded in case of cancellation or amendments!

3. Payment Options

We accept: VISA, MASTERCARD, JCB, AMEX, DINERS,UNIONPAY, EFTPOS and Mobile Money (Kenyan specific). Full payment will be made directly at the Hotel at check-out time. For stays less than 3 nights, half payment is required at check-in (subject to management discretion). Credit or debit card details are not stored by us. This is processed directly with the card provider processing device at time of payment.

Credit Cards:
Payments made to the directly to the Hotel by using a credit card attract a surcharge of additional 1.5% [on Visa and MasterCard] 2.5% [American Express, JCB, China Union and Diners Club Card] on the total invoice amount.

Direct Debit:
Funds must clear in our bank account 24 hours prior to the guest arrival. Overall it takes a minimum of 3 business days to clear all processes. You must inform the Hotel when transferring funds into our account once the transfer is done. The guest name is to be placed in the reference field (during banking) as the transfer details.Proof of transfer/receipt or remittance advice is to be submitted to  [email protected]

Bank account details will be provided to the guest during reservation process.
